Our journey began in 1968, when visionary engineer Mr. Mohammad Hasan Shahrour founded the company with a simple yet powerful mission: to revolutionize commercial food preparation through intelligent, durable, and locally manufactured kitchen equipment.
Just one year later, in 1969, Shahrour made history by producing Syria’s first industrial food mixer—paired with an innovative machine for peeling and cleaning carrots. This groundbreaking duo marked the birth of modern food processing machinery in the region. On April 27, 1970, these inventions were officially registered with the Ministry of Commerce of the Arab Syrian Republic under the Department of Intellectual Property Protection—a testament to our early commitment to innovation and ownership.
From that moment on, Shahrour dedicated itself exclusively to the design and manufacturing of high-performance kitchen equipment for restaurants, hotels, catering companies, and industrial food producers. Guided by rigorous engineering principles and a deep understanding of culinary workflows, we quickly became a trusted name across the Middle East.
Today, over 55 years later, Shahrour stands as a leading manufacturer of stainless steel commercial machinery—renowned for our SH-MX hummus mixers, SH-FL falafel production lines, and SH-HKY dough cutting and rounding systems.
